Robo Race 2025 – Powered by CLG Institute of Engineering & Technology

The Department of Engineering at CLG Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sumerpur proudly organized the thrilling Robo Race 2024 as part of its annual TechFest, held on 13 -14th March 2025.

The event brought out the creativity, coding skills, and technical expertise of students from various engineering disciplines. It served as a platform for showcasing innovations in robotics and automation through high-speed competition on challenging tracks.

🛠️ Event Overview:

Teams of engineering students designed and constructed their own robots — manually controlled or autonomous — to compete in high-speed obstacle-based races. The goal was to build a bot that could balance speed with stability and adapt to the dynamic race course.

🚗 Highlights of the Event:

• 🏁 Custom-designed track with curves, slopes, and hurdle zones

• ⚙️ Participation from multiple engineering colleges and internal CLGIET teams

• ⏱️ Judged on speed, control, and track completion accuracy

• 🗣️ Live commentary and cheering crowds energized the competition

• 🏅 Top 3 teams awarded trophies, cash prizes, and certificates

• 🥉 3rd Prize: RoboStorm – ABC Institute of Tech
