The CLG Institute of Engineering & Technology (CLGIET), Sumerpur proudly celebrated Engineers’ Day 2025 on 15th September 2025 to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India’s most respected engineers and visionaries. The day was dedicated to honoring the spirit of engineering, innovation, and creativity among students.
The celebration commenced with a floral tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, followed by a motivational address by the Principal, who encouraged students to adopt innovation and ethical engineering practices for the betterment of society.
To make the occasion engaging and educational, several technical and fun events were organized by different departments, including:
💡 Project Exhibition – Students showcased innovative models and real-time problem-solving ideas.
🧠 Technical Quiz – A knowledge-testing event based on core engineering concepts and latest technologies.
💻 Coding Challenge – For Computer Science students to demonstrate their programming skills.
⚙️ Bridge Construction & CAD Design Contest – For Civil and Mechanical Engineering students to test design accuracy and creativity.
🔋 Circuit Debugging Competition – For Electrical and Electronics students to enhance practical knowledge.
🎨 Poster Making & Slogan Writing – Focusing on the theme “Engineering for a Sustainable Future.”
Apart from the technical events, students also participated in fun activities and team games, promoting collaboration, creativity, and enthusiasm.
The winners of each competition were awarded certificates and mementos by the Principal, HODs, and faculty coordinators. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of students and staff for making the day successful.
